A True Copy Certification is a notarized statement in which a notary public certifies that a photocopy of your driver’s license is a true, complete, and accurate reproduction of the original document presented.
This certified copy—rather than the physical license—is used for:

- Legalization for non-Hague countries
- Foreign residency, visa, or employment applications
- Banking, licensing, or identification verification abroad
Driver’s License Authentication Process
- Provide a clear copy of the front (and back, if applicable) of your driver’s license.
- True Copy Certification is completed by a qualified notary public.
- Apostille or legalization is obtained from the appropriate authority based on your destination country.
